Micro-Updates
So you may have noticed that originally these micro-updates / daily posts where being posted in the announcement area of the forums. I felt as if it doesn't really work for what I'd wish to have for these more casual mini updates that are just to do with me and my progress in the areas of my life including the company. So they have now been moved over to General Discussion, They may remain here or be moved to there own area in the future.
I also just want to say why these tiny updates are a thing. So I've never really felt I could write something daily, even just my daily notes on the various platforms I've used over time has actually been daily and using Habica lately for my tasks for both personal and business use has been amazing. There's 'Challenges' you can do on Habicia and I recently selected the Daily Goals one. This actually tells you to check-in daily with your discord server as well as check-out. I'm actually doing it as mainly one post where I talk about roughly what's going in my head and what I'm planning on doing about it today.
This is a great way to get around things but instead of using Discord what is a platform that I've slowly moved away from over time. I decided to use the already established forums on the website, I could have created a Blog but I felt that was to professional for these sorts of updates. Do you enjoy these updates? Should I keep them up into the future?
My Notes
My Notes have been all over the place for as long as I can remember, Originally using one Google Docs Document for everything I wrote, thought and done during my School life. To moving onto use various Note Taking Applications & sights including but not limited to;
Google Keep
Notion
ObsidianMD
Website builders
Many, Many Notebooks
Recently I moved across to Apple and realised that Apple Notes can be linked together, drawn on and has some really cool features that are just plain cool. This is where I've been taking my notes exclusively for the past month and I'm loving it.
My new goal around the VEX.blue meeting today as well as personal things later this evening, I will be not only researching further into Apple Notes over my previous methods mainly Notebooks & ObsidianMD as I no longer really use Notion, Google Products (as much as possible) or website builders (what was a strange way of making notes, but kind of cool).
The great thing about Apple Notes is that I will be able to share them after I finish writing them for certain projects, As it's always good to write something and share it. Notion, Websites and Google Keeps you can most likely do that but you can't really link notes together with Google, Websites just get to complicated and messy, Then Notion doesn't have an offline mode and you spend 99% of your time making things fancy like your homepage.
Have do you write your notes?
